How often are the classes?
Classes are held on various days and at various times.
Where are the classes held?
Outside classes are held outside Festival Place area in sherwood Park (April through October)
Inside classes are held at Shinjii Taekwon Do Studio in Sherwood Park Thursday & Sundays and United Church on Fir street on Mondays (November through March)
River valley classes are held in Ezzio Ferone Park above Royal Glenora club (April through October)
What do I need to bring?
You will need to bring indoor/outdoor running shoes, a water bottle, hand held weights (5-8lb) and a yoga mat in a sturdy well fitted backpack. Please dress accordingly.
What kind of exercises will we be expected to do?
Exercises will include: strength training, core work, cardio training including short distance running, sports drills, functional training, hill work, stairs and more!!
What is HIIT training?
A HIIT session often consists of a warm up period of exercise, followed by three to ten repetitions of high intensity exercise, separated by medium intensity exercise for recovery, and ending with a period of cool down exercise. The high intensity exercise should be done at near maximum intensity. The medium exercise should be about 50% intensity.
What is Circuit training?
A method of physical conditioning in which one moves from one exercise to another, usually in a series of different stations or pieces of equipment.
Do I already need to be in shape?
All levels of fitness will be welcome. Each person will work at their own level of fitness each week. Intensity will increase each week and you will all see an improvement as the weeks progress. No one is left behind! You will motivate and be motivated by others in the class.
What is the Cost?
Each session will vary in cost according to length of time and where the bootcamp is located.
There will be a limit to the number of participants in each bootcamp in order to give each person the attention they require.
Are there refunds?
There are no refunds once the fee is paid in full. If there is an injury or illness once class has started, with a doctors note, the session they have paid for will be post-poned to when they are able to return to classes.
